This unusual French 18th Century polychrome porcelain centerpiece plate is attributable to the famous Sevres manufacture.

This centerpiece or hors d'oeuvre dish features two big scallop shell form bowls centered by a lobster shaped handle, other two little shell shaped bowls near the head and the tail of the crustacean. The plate is rendered in a gorgeous colors palette with white, pink and blue royal all enriched by gold accents throughout.
